Intercom is seeking a Senior Researcher to join their Research, Analytics & Data Science (RAD!) team. The company is on a mission to help customers provide incredible customer experiences online through its platform, including Fin by Intercom and Helpdesk by Intercom.

The Senior Researcher will partner closely with Intercom’s growth and web team to generate insights that support Intercom's growth strategy.

Role involves:

  • Working closely with product managers, designers, marketers, and data scientists.
  • Executing research studies from end to end.
  • Developing an independent, evidence-based perspective on opportunities to improve growth outcomes.
  • Crafting insights stories, sharing findings, and advocating for recommendations.
  • Collaborating with data scientists and product analysts.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience working with research to solve problems and drive evidence-based decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic programs of research, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and guide strategy with insights.
  • Excellent communication skills and a focus on driving impact.
  • Strong growth mindset and sense of ownership.
  • Innate passion and curiosity.
