Senior People Partner - French Speaking at GoCardless

GoCardless is seeking a Senior People Partner to join their team in Paris, France. The Senior People Partner will work closely with international markets, primarily focusing on the France market and growing team needs. He/She will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a formal social and economic committee (CSE) and ensuring compliance with legal obligations for an entity with 50+ employees.

The role involves influencing through strong relationships, delivering value-adding insights, championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and driving organizational effectiveness.

Role Involves:

• Facilitating the representation of performance culture and values across the company.
• Serving as the key HR contact for leaders, providing coaching and guidance.
• Identifying learning opportunities and recommending solutions for employee development.
• Leading strategic people projects and change management initiatives.
• Providing coaching and mentoring to other people team members.

Requirements:

• Significant HR business partner experience.
• Strong background in technology or fast-growth organizations.
• Knowledge of working practices and employment law in France along with advanced French language skills.
• Experience with employment law in the US is a bonus.
• Ability to influence, coach, and develop effective working relationships.
• Intellectual curiosity and ability to bring valuable insights from data or cultural observation.
