Algolia is seeking a Manager, People Operations & Workplace to support their EMEA teams from the Paris office. This role involves managing employee inquiries, improving processes, and ensuring operational excellence in workplace management.
- Serve as the local People Operations lead for France, managing compliance with statutory requirements.
- Manage employee queries through the People Support Help Desk.
- Partner in HR compliance matters for EMEA & APAC.
- Oversee Paris, London, and Sydney office and workplace management.
- Manage local vendors, office operations, and workplace programs.
- Support CSE-related processes.
- Advise on employee relations matters.
- Develop and implement processes, policies, and documentation.
- Manage system enhancements, tools, and workflows.
- 5-7 years of experience in People Operations, with a strong understanding of French statutory requirements.
- 2-5 years of people management experience.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Experience managing CSE processes and workplace operations in France.
- Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a process-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and HR systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a global mindset.
- Ability to work in our Paris office 2-3 days per week.
