Senior Developer Advocate/Senior Project Manager at Motive

Motive is seeking a Senior Developer Advocate/Senior Project Manager to lead partner integrations with the Motive API. The role involves technical guidance, relationship management, and project oversight to maximize customer value. This position offers the opportunity to become a product API expert and work with diverse internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assist third-party developers with Motive platform API integrations.
• Provide technical training and guidance for best practices and issue resolution.
• Nurture partner relationships from onboarding to expansion.
• Collaborate with marketing, legal, product, and customer support teams.
• Share development knowledge through various channels like webinars and blog posts.
• Gather learnings to improve the Engagement Model.
• Update integration documentation for internal and external use.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles (sales engineering, post-sales support).
• Strong understanding of authentication methods and integration standards (OAuth 2.0, SFTP, Soap/Rest APIs, XML, JSON).
• Excellent communication skills for instructing, persuading, and negotiating.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT.
• Experience with end-to-end GTM release processes is preferred.
• PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
