Job Description
Semgrep is seeking a Senior Manager, Outbound Sales Development to lead and scale their Sales Development Representative (SDR) team. This role involves creating and executing a strategy that drives outbound sales efforts, generating qualified leads, and expanding Semgrep’s reach. The Senior Manager will manage a team of 6 SDRs, ensuring their success through coaching, development, and process optimization. They will also handle the hiring plan for the year, with the ability to hire their own candidates.

Role involves:
  • Creating and implementing a strategic sales development plan.
  • Optimizing outbound prospecting.
  • Utilizing sales technologies to streamline SDR workflows.
  • Refining key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
  • Leading, mentoring, and growing a high-performing SDR team.
  • Cultivating a results-driven culture.
  • Identifying and addressing challenges to drive team success.

Requirements:
  • 2 years of sales development experience, including 1 year in management.
  • Proven track record of scaling and managing SDR teams.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and lead generation best practices.
  • Expertise in CRM (Salesforce), sales engagement platforms (Outreach/CommonRoom), enrichment (Clay/ZoomInfo) & analytics tools (Tableau).
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage analytics.
  • Experience in SaaS, technology, or B2B industries is preferred.
