Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Astria is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help with the design and development of various aspects of their technology, ranging from core sequencing protocols to developer tools and the infrastructure to support it all. Astria is a shared sequencer network replacing centralized sequencers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop in various areas of our technology.
• Work on core sequencing protocol.
• Develop developer tooling.
• Work on infrastructure to run it all.

Requirements:

• 4+ years work experience as a software engineer
• Experience with at least one backend language (eg. Go, Rust, C++, Java)
• Familiarity with Distributed systems
• Experience with “Cloud native” development (eg. Docker, Kubernetes, GCP/AWS/Azure)
