Director of Engineering at Inbank

Inbank is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead and mentor a team of 80+ engineers within its Product & Technology unit. The Director will be responsible for managing engineering teams, ensuring quality and velocity standards are met, and collaborating with the CPTO on technical vision and architecture. They will work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products and play a key role in scaling the platform while maintaining high security standards.

The role involves:

• Promoting the platform engine as the driving force of the business.
• Coaching teams to seek and leverage technology-driven opportunities.
• Leading 5 Engineering Managers directly.
• Driving architectural decisions for performance, scalability, and robustness.
• Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.
• Collaborating with product, engineering, and design roles.
• Influencing best practices in a product-led-sales organization.
• Defining and executing the technical roadmap.
• Playing a key role in the hiring process.

Requirements:

• Strong technical background with expertise in software development, system architecture, and engineering practices.
• Experience in a senior-level engineering leadership position in a product company.
• Ability to coordinate complex technical projects and provide clear updates.
• Ability to transform data into strategic insights.
• Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• High level of written and verbal English communication skills.
