OKX is seeking a Senior Manager for Sanctions Operations, based in Budapest, Hungary. This role involves developing and executing the global sanctions compliance strategy for the company. The ideal candidate will lead a team of sanctions compliance professionals and report directly to the EEA Head of Compliance Operations.OKX is committed to shaping a fairer, more transparent, and accessible society through blockchain technology and is expanding into new markets globally.Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 10-15 sanctions compliance professionals.
  • Oversee the screening of customers and counterparties against sanctions lists.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sanctions compliance program.
  • Conduct sanctions risk assessments and reviews.
  • Develop and deliver sanctions compliance training.
  • Provide guidance on sanctions compliance matters.
  • Stay current on regulatory developments and industry best practices.
  • Ensure regular testing and monitoring of the sanctions compliance program.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in sanctions compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of sanctions laws and regulations (OFAC, EU, UN).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working in a global environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Nice to have:
  • ACAMS / CGSS and / or ICA certification.
  • Experience working in the crypto industry.
  • Experience working with teams across global offices and time zones.
