Job Description
Visier is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d) to join their dynamic team in Berlin. This role involves shaping the future of Visier's technology in one of Europe's most vibrant tech hubs. As a key member of the software development team, the Senior Software Engineer will contribute to the development of Visier's newest products, driving the company's technical growth. The Berlin development team is currently focused on building a new product line for total compensation, enabling companies to make better, fairer, and faster compensation decisions.
What this role involves:
- Being a key contributor to one of Visier's newest products.
- Writing high-quality code with React and Kotlin to create a sophisticated user interface and flawless business logic.
- Leading and mentoring junior software developers.
- Understanding, refining, and translating requirements into product definitions and technical designs.
- Ensuring the product runs around the clock and is secure, scalable, and cost-efficient.
- Working with a modern technology stack, including React, Kotlin, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, and AWS.
What you bring:
- Extensive professional experience in developing SaaS products.
- Excellent programming skills in at least one object-oriented server programming language (Unix environment).
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- A strong academic background in computer science or a similar field with excellent academic performance in computer science courses.
