Job Description
Healthie is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Web Engineering team. The Senior Software Engineer will play a key role in developing new features and enhancing existing solutions for Healthie's platform. They will collaborate with engineers and product teams to scale Healthie’s virtual-first healthcare delivery infrastructure.
Role involves:
- Developing new features and enhancing existing solutions for the platform.
- Scaling virtual-first healthcare delivery infrastructure.
- Leading technical projects and providing guidance to junior engineers.
- Optimizing the platform to enhance the user experience.
- Taking ownership of feature development from concept to deployment.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience shipping Rails applications in production environments.
- Proficiency with Rails, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Postgres, and Redis.
- Understanding of coding standards, refactoring, and schema design.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as RSpec and Capybara.
- Technical leadership and collaboration skills.
- Passion for healthcare and improving patient outcomes.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- U.S. work authorization.
Healthie offers:
- A full-time, remote position within the United States.
- A base salary of $160,000 - $190,000 per year.
- Additional benefits and an annual company bonus.
