Job Description

Berlin Brands Group, a leading European digital company, is seeking a Bilanzbuchhalter / Finanzbuchhalter Konzern (w/m/x) to join their General Ledger Team. The ideal candidate will be involved in fast-closing processes, consolidation, the transition from HGB to IFRS, and change processes associated with the introduction of SAP S/4Hana.

• Creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS
• Managing intercompany reconciliations and consolidation within the group
• Monitoring and optimizing accounting processes, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting
• Analyzing and reconciling payment flows across various online marketplaces and payment service providers
• Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns, particularly in connection with cross-border EU trade
• Serving as a point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and external financial service providers
• Participating in the implementation and further development of ERP systems and accounting software

• Completed commercial training or a degree in finance, accounting, or business administration, ideally with further training as a certified accountant (IHK) or tax assistant
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in the e-commerce or logistics sector
• Sound knowledge of HGB and tax law, especially VAT regulations in international trade
• Confident handling of accounting software (e.g., DATEV, SAP) and MS Office, especially Excel
• Independent and structured way of working with high attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Fluent German and good English skills
