Solutions Engineer - Japan at BitGo

BitGo is seeking a Solutions Engineer to be based in Japan. In this role, the individual will lead and drive technical and product aspects for pre and post sales activities. They will also provide client relationship management and collaborate with Product Management and Engineering Teams. BitGo is looking for someone with open communication, transparency, taking ownership, and a high level of craftsmanship to deliver trust in digital assets.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive technical and product aspects for pre and post sales activities.
• Continuous client relationship management.
• Collaboration and partnership with Product Management and Engineering Teams.
• Serve as the client advocate, providing feedback to the internal team.
• Provide clear understanding of client requirements for the Sales Team.

Requirements:

• 5-10+ years in an enterprise client facing technical role.
• Demonstrated understanding of technical subjects and concepts including web services and applications, PaaS, SaaS, APIs, SDKs, etc.
• Previous experience in pre-sales and/or post-sales capacity.
• Strong experience with leading and managing client engagements and projects.
• RFx/ DDQ experience.
• Extremely high professionalism.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication and comprehension.
• Ability to self-manage and use best professional judgment as needed.
• Experience in blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies and financial services and products.
• Professional proficiency in English and Japanese.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related STEM field, or equivalent years of professional experience.
