Job Description
Semgrep is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to enable security and software engineers to understand the value of the Semgrep platform. This role involves bringing new products and features to market, partnering with sales, product management, demand generation, and community teams. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will help Semgrep's solutions stand out in the application security market through differentiation and competitive messaging.
The role will be based in Semgrep's San Francisco office 1-2 days a week, but they are open to candidates in New York, Boston, or Denver.
What this role involves:
- Developing product launch strategies
- Creating material that conveys the value of Semgrep products
- Enabling and training the sales team
- Partnering with product management on product and feature launches
- Educating the security and developer communities
- Working with demand generation, events, community, and RevOps teams
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in a go-to-market role in marketing, developer advocacy, or product management
- Experience creating product-centric marketing programs and content
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, pre-sales engineering, and product management teams
- Experience creating sales collateral
- Technical aptitude to understand software development and security
- A rapid-iteration mindset
