Girl Effect is seeking a consultant with expertise in gender-based violence (GBV) and technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV) to support their program in India. The consultant will guide and review the curriculum. The engagement will be managed by the Communications and New Projects Lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Guiding and reviewing resources
  • Providing guidance to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Reviewing materials and content at every step of the programme.
  • Supporting documentation, reporting, and presentations.
  • Content creation and vetting.
  • Vetting the final content of all produced media content to ensure that there is no misrepresentation of information on GBV and TFGBV.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience working on projects addressing GBV and/or TFGBV.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience with adolescents and/or young girls & women from marginalized communities.
  • Experience developing, adapting, and designing content for different audiences.
  • Experience with addressing SRH concerns in the digital and offline worlds.
  • Proficiency in Hindi and English.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and experience working in a multicultural team.

What Girl Effect offers:

  • A part-time consultancy contract for 3 months.
