Aetion, a global leader in science-driven technology providing innovative healthcare solutions, is seeking an Account Executive to join their team in Barcelona. The Account Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing ones. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and closing deals to deepening client partnerships, while building relationships with senior stakeholders and exceeding revenue targets.
Responsibilities include:
- Prospecting and generating leads in the biopharma, healthcare, and life sciences sectors.
- Building a robust sales pipeline through proactive engagement with prospects.
- Owning the entire sales process, from initial outreach to deal closure.
- Presenting Aetion’s value proposition through product demonstrations and data-driven business cases.
- Collaborating with marketing, solution engineering, and product teams to deliver tailored presentations.
- Staying informed on industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Tracking sales activities and pipeline progress using CRM tools.
- Identifying opportunities for expansion within assigned territories or accounts.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, ideally in healthcare or SaaS.
- A strong ability to identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities.
- Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles.
- Exceptional presentation skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare and life sciences industry trends.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
