QA Engineer at OpenTable at KAYAK

OpenTable is looking for a QA Engineer to join the SEO team in Kaunas. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and consistency of OpenTable's discovery experiences, connecting diners and restaurants. The QA Engineer will be responsible for establishing best practices, improving QA processes, and working closely with developers, designers, and product managers across different locations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring pages and components function correctly across browsers and devices.
• Validating SEO fundamentals and page metadata consistency.
• Ensuring high-quality content in all languages.
• Testing page markup and structured data implementation.
• Auditing internal linking structures.
• Testing load time and page speed optimizations.
• Conducting usability testing.
• Testing correct implementation of product and design requirements.

Requirements:

• A team-first mindset and collaborative spirit.
• Proactive work ethic in creating testing strategies.
• 2+ years of experience in software testing.
• Experience in creating and executing test plans.
• Hands-on experience with exploratory testing techniques.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and Agile/Kanban.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
