Job Description

GumGum is seeking a Sales Director to drive growth for its advertising platform. This role involves prospecting and closing sales, with a core focus on the LA region. The Sales Director will report to the Group Sales Director and will develop key relationships to drive value for clients through GumGum's products.

The Sales Director will work with internal teams to achieve sales goals and grow GumGum’s products. This position offers a flexible work environment, with the option to work in-office or remotely.

What this role involves:

  • Driving revenue growth with agencies in tech and telecom.
  • Generating sales through various methods, including cold calling, presentations, and RFPs.
  • Upselling display solutions to key brands and agencies.
  • Providing client insights to support product rollouts.
  • Overseeing a sales team, fostering an inclusive culture, and managing recruitment and development.
  • Building strategic relationships with brands, agencies, and clients.
  • Ensuring smooth proposal execution with internal teams.
  • Assisting in strategic sales initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media, Marketing, or Advertising.
  • 5+ years in digital advertising sales.
  • Experience managing a $4M+ book of business.
  • Proven sales team leadership, with programmatic experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive.
