Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Gen AI at Mozilla

Mozilla Corporation is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join the Firefox team and contribute to the development of new Generative AI-driven products and tools. In this role, the engineer will play a key part in enabling safe and healthy machine learning and Generative AI experiences within Firefox. They will work with a team of engineers who are passionate about delivering a fast, user-friendly browser.

As a Staff Engineer, this individual will be a domain expert, leading the design, development, and integration of Generative AI solutions in Firefox. They will collaborate cross-functionally with product management, full-stack engineering, and design teams to build infrastructure for training and inference of language models. The role also involves implementing robust validation and testing procedures and continuously monitoring and optimizing deployed models for performance and efficiency.

What this role involves:

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
