BigID is seeking an Escalation Engineer to join its escalations team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for resolving customer issues, developing product enhancements, and training other tiers. The Escalation Engineer will work with a fast-paced and high-energy team.
What this role involves:
- Troubleshooting complex software modules.
- Owning internal and external customer calls.
- Developing and modifying product modules.
- Participating in feature design activities.
- Working with QA teams.
- Conducting company-internal training sessions.
Requirements:
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in Java and Node.js.
- Experience with software management and deployment systems (Jenkins, GIT, AWS, Azure).
- Previous experience working directly with customers.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.
- Experience with Kubernetes and other container orchestration technologies.
- Knowledge in working with Linux environments.
- Prior experience working in a commercial development environment.
- Experience working with various databases and with MongoDB – an advantage
