ClickHouse is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Integrations Team. The role is remote and based in India. The Senior Software Engineer will play a critical role in driving the growth and ensuring the success of clients by seamlessly onboarding and integrating data from diverse data sources into ClickHouse.
As a member of this team, the candidate will collaborate with talented engineers to design, build, and optimize responsive and scalable cloud-based services. The candidate will engage with customers and partners to design solutions that can reliably handle the velocity and scale of modern data ecosystems. The role is ideal for individuals with an outcome driven mindset.
What this role involves:
- Building a high-performance data onboarding platform.
- Integrating diverse datastores such as MySQL, Mongo, Iceberg, Snowflake, Redshift and ClickHouse.
- Creating solutions that enable users to fully harness ClickHouse’s exceptional performance.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the platform aligns with customer needs and business objectives.
- Leading and influencing technical discussions, continuously identifying and implementing improvements.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of industry experience building high-scale, data-intensive software solutions.
- Proficiency in Golang (preferred) or Java, with deep experience in distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Strong background in designing and implementing robust ETL pipelines and an understanding of data replication methodologies such as CDC.
- Solid experience with cloud-native architecture and infrastructure, with hands-on knowledge of at least one major CSP.
- Practical experience with Kubernetes (K8s), including debugging and managing distributed systems at scale.
- Exceptional production debugging skills.
