Sotheby's, a world-renowned auction house established in 1744, is offering a Summer Internship Program in its Hong Kong office. This program aims to provide practical training to students interested in the fine art and auction world, offering internships across various business areas. Interns will experience the culture and atmosphere of Sotheby’s by taking on responsibilities of Full-Time employees, working on a variety of projects and making meaningful contributions.

During the program, interns will have the opportunity to learn about the inner workings of an auction house, see great rarities and works of art, and discover potential industry careers. They will also gain exposure to the business through hands-on learning, executive exposure, and team projects.

Role Involves:

  • Taking on responsibilities of Full-Time employees.
  • Working on a variety of projects.
  • Making meaningful contributions.
  • Participating in an immersive orientation and training program.
  • Working alongside experienced professionals on meaningful projects.

Requirements:

  • A strong academic record with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree with a graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.
  • Adaptive, positive attitude, multi-tasker, team player, strong work ethic, leadership skills with a curiosity and passion for learning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) is preferred.
  • Applicants must hold or be able to obtain valid working papers for Hong Kong.
  • Complete the entirety of the onsite 10-week program from July to September 2025.
