SVP, Finance

Job Description

Kensington is seeking an SVP, Finance to drive financial transformation and optimize business performance. This role reports to the President and collaborates with the Navigatr Group leadership. The SVP will lead financial strategy, oversee risk management, and implement data-driven decision-making frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall financial position of the company.
• Serve as a strategic financial advisor to executive leadership.
• Develop, direct, and provide financial analysis of operations.
• Lead the finance and accounting functions with a focus on strategic financial planning and change management.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets.
• Develop and implement robust financial performance tracking systems.
• Oversee the year-end audit process.
• Develop policies and procedures while leveraging technology and automation.

Requirements:

• Bachelors of Commerce/Business Administration required.
• Canadian accounting designation CPA a must, complemented by 15+ years working in a senior role leading the finance function in a multi-stream business.
• Strong expertise in Canadian and US corporate tax.
• Advanced level Excel, Intermediate level PowerPoint skills.
• Direct experience with ERP system implementation and process automation.
• Fully proficient in consolidations accounting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to present to executive level management.
• Highly adaptable and capable of driving financial transformation in a fast paced, constantly evolving entrepreneurial environment
