Alignment Data Scientist

Job Description

AE Studio, a company focused on increasing human agency, is seeking an Alignment Data Scientist to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work on both client projects and internal AI alignment research. AE Studio has worked with Samsung, Walmart, Berkshire Hathaway. The Data Scientist will contribute to cutting-edge brain-computer interface (BCI) R&D and AI alignment research and policy efforts.

Role Involves:

• Working on client projects and AI alignment research.
• Automating tasks using AI.
• Collaborating in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
• Building and training deep learning models (computer vision, NLP, LLMs).
• Communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Requirements:

• Experience with ML or alignment research.
• Caring about AI alignment.
• Experience using AI and automating everything.
• Proven data science experience.
• Experience with Python.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work exclusively in English
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
