Rent the Runway is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their team in Galway, Ireland. This role involves spearheading and leading technology initiatives in cloud infrastructure, software delivery, and observability. The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will build and develop tooling, policies, and processes to advance Rent The Runway to higher levels of scale and performance. They will lead assigned projects and be responsible for the overall delivery of these initiatives.

The person in this role will be part of a high-impact engagement with the Platform Engineering team, delivering operational excellence through system automation, self-service, and developer tooling that empowers the entire organization.

What This Role Involves:

  • Utilizing programming languages like Terraform, Python, and Go.
  • Implementing software development practices for observability, alerting, and automation.
  • Coordinating across platforms and supporting issue resolution.
  • Developing maintenance and operations automation through CI/CD.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of orchestration technology experience with Kubernetes and/or Helm.
  • Advanced skills in Terraform and Ansible, with understanding of CI/CD tools.
  • Practical experience with monitoring solutions, including Splunk and GCP Monitoring.
  • 3+ years of experience maintaining production environments across cloud platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development using languages like Bash, Python, Golang, or Java.
  • Experience working within Agile teams.
