Rent the Runway is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer III to join their Platform Engineering team in Galway, Ireland. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cloud infrastructure, software delivery, and observability, and will play a key role in advancing Rent the Runway's scale and performance.

As a Site Reliability Engineer, they will contribute to technology initiatives, building tooling, policies, and processes to enhance system automation and self-service capabilities. The SRE will lead assigned projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence.

This is a hybrid role based in Rent the Runway's Galway, Ireland office.

  • Utilize technologies like Terraform, Helm, Python, Go, Docker, and Kubernetes to drive service reliability.
  • Implement software development practices to build observability, alerting, tracing, automation, and self-healing capabilities.
  • Coordinate across platforms, supporting, identifying, responding, and reporting of issues.
  • Develop maintenance and operations automation through CI/CD.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of hands-on experience with orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and/or Helm.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible or Helm, with an understanding of CI/CD tools like GitHub, GitLab, and Artifactory.
  • Practical experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools, including Splunk and GCP Monitoring.
  • 2 years of experience in maintaining production environments across cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Some experience in developing and delivering products using programming languages such as Bash, Python, Golang, or Java is desirable.
  • Experience working within Agile teams.
