Job Description
Xaira Therapeutics is seeking a Sr. Research Associate Scientist to advance molecular screening platforms and data-driven discovery methodologies. This role involves driving innovation across multidisciplinary teams and ensuring high throughput in antibody discovery efforts. The candidate will be based in Seattle, Washington.
Role Involves:
- Building and screening HT protein library benchmarking studies.
- Evaluating and validating new library designs.
- Designing and implementing innovative screening technologies.
- Coordinating the synthesis, build, and validation of design libraries.
- Partnering with bioinformatics, bioanalysts, and protein design teams.
- Generating and analyzing high-throughput data.
Requirements:
- Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Synthetic Biology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of industry experience in large molecule hit identification.
- Strong focus on high-throughput screening, yeast and phage display, antibody discovery and engineering.
- Experience building and screening antibody yeast and phage display libraries.
- Strong background in large-scale molecular biology techniques.
- Familiarity with bioinformatics and machine learning.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
