Job Description
Octagon is seeking a Senior Event Executive to plan and execute high-end hospitality programs for brand partners at sports and entertainment events. The role involves supporting B2B hosting programs through pre-event communication, online registration, on-site staffing, and post-event reporting.
Responsibilities: - Assist with event planning, research, on-site activation, and post-event wrap-up.
- Handle online guest registration systems and databases.
- Support budget creation, management, and reconciliation.
- Help manage vendor payments, client invoices, and internal contract processes.
- Create personalized itineraries for various events.
- Support all logistics, including guest communications, accommodations, and transportation.
- Make recommendations to enhance guest experiences.
- Create and distribute status agendas and meeting notes.
- Handle event results reporting and wrap-up report development.
- General account management and assistance with client requests.
Requirements: - 3+ years’ experience in related events field; hospitality and/or event management experience preferred.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office suite).
- Ability to travel (approx. 35%).
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and non-traditional hours.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
