Community Host Summer Intern (F&B) - 3 months

Job Description

The Social Hub is seeking a Community Host Summer Intern to join their Food & Beverage team in Vienna for a 3-month internship. The intern will play a crucial role in ensuring guests have an unforgettable experience at the restaurant and bar.He/She will be responsible for warmly welcoming guests, providing excellent service, and recommending food and drinks. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the menu and be able to present offerings with charm and conviction. The intern will also assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.What this role involves:

• Greeting guests upon arrival at the restaurant, bar, or breakfast area.
• Assisting guests with food and drink selections and ensuring orders are fulfilled promptly.
• Preparing coffee specialties as a barista.
• Recommending and preparing drinks, including cocktails.
• Maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant, bar, and breakfast areas.
• Addressing guest inquiries about the menu and special requests.

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in a Hospitality School.
• Available for a 3-month internship during June, July, and August 2025.
• Ability to take responsibility and work independently.
• Flexible, hands-on, motivated, and positive approach.
• Fluent in English with basic proficiency in German.
• Hardworking with a responsible attitude.
