Job Description
The Social Hub is seeking a Sous Chef to creatively and efficiently manage kitchen operations in Toulouse, France. The Sous Chef will be responsible for the overall culinary experience of the customers.
The role involves:
- Ensuring resources are available for staff.
- Assisting in food preparation and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
- Controlling portions and waste to maintain profit margins.
- Implementing training and development opportunities for the team.
- Scheduling staff based on business needs.
- Managing the performance of kitchen staff, including setting goals and conducting performance reviews.
- Translating menu changes into precise recipes and testing dishes.
- Managing the purchase of supplies and ingredients.
- Ensuring compliance with HACCP standards and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a leadership role in a kitchen.
- HACCP certification.
- Excellent knowledge of food products and market trends.
- Proficiency in modern cooking techniques.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Legal authorization to work in France.
