The Social Hub is seeking a Sous Chef to creatively and efficiently manage kitchen operations in Toulouse, France. The Sous Chef will be responsible for the overall culinary experience of the customers.

The role involves:

  • Ensuring resources are available for staff.
  • Assisting in food preparation and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
  • Controlling portions and waste to maintain profit margins.
  • Implementing training and development opportunities for the team.
  • Scheduling staff based on business needs.
  • Managing the performance of kitchen staff, including setting goals and conducting performance reviews.
  • Translating menu changes into precise recipes and testing dishes.
  • Managing the purchase of supplies and ingredients.
  • Ensuring compliance with HACCP standards and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a leadership role in a kitchen.
  • HACCP certification.
  • Excellent knowledge of food products and market trends.
  • Proficiency in modern cooking techniques.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Legal authorization to work in France.
