The Student Hotel (TSH) is seeking a Community Host for their Amsterdam West location. TSH is known for being the rule breakers in hospitality, is a fun, creative, and inspiring environment.

In this role, the Community Host will be the face of TSH for all guests, ensuring they have the best possible experience. This involves providing a flawless welcome, assisting with self-check-in, offering service in the restaurant and bars, and providing information and recommendations about Amsterdam. The Community Host will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of all front-of-house areas.

Role Involves:

  • Welcoming guests and creating a positive first impression.
  • Assisting guests with self-check-in kiosks.
  • Preparing and serving food and beverages.
  • Mixing cocktails and brewing coffee.
  • Providing information.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and order in front-of-house areas.
  • Answering questions about the best places to visit, eat, shop or party.

Requirements:

  • Flexible, hands-on, motivated, and positive attitude.
  • Background in hospitality, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch.
  • European citizenship or legal authorization to work in The Netherlands.
  • Hard working, responsible and a “let’s do this!” mentality.
