General Manager Intern at The Social Hub

The Student Hotel (TSH) is seeking a General Manager Intern to join their team in Eindhoven. The intern will work closely with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and the Connector, forming the Management team and being responsible for the daily hotel operations.

The intern will be a connector and networker, ensuring the smooth running of the hotel. They will lead, coach, and train the Hotel Team in TSH's unique style, and manage external partners for housekeeping, night team, and maintenance.

Role Involves:

• Daily management, training, coaching, and motivation of employees and partners
• Handling guest and colleague inquiries, remarks, and complaints
• Maintaining and evolving standard operating procedures
• Networking with the guest community, universities, companies, and social organizations
• Building relationships with headquarters key players and external parties
• Maintaining hotel security
• Supporting the preparation and execution of student arrivals and departures

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in University
• A bachelor student, preferably in hotel- or tourism management with hospitality or team leading experience
• Flexible, hands-on, motivated, and positive approach
• Background in hospitality, preferably in a hotel environment
• Ability to handle stressful peak periods
• Fluent in English and Dutch
• Legally allowed to work in the Netherlands
