The Student Hotel (TSH) is seeking a Meeting & Events Intern to support commercial results and coordinate Meeting & Event bookings at their Groningen location. The intern will focus on selling the TSH concept, including meeting rooms, hotel rooms, and restaurant services, to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business. The intern’s responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with answering questions and making bookings through various channels.
  • Helping develop customer accounts to drive business into TSH Groningen.
  • Working within current business strategies and recognizing potential opportunities.
  • Preparing, updating, and filing all correspondence.
  • Preparing meeting & events function sheets with accurate details for the banqueting department.
  • Hosting meetings with the banqueting department.
  • Maintaining a follow-up system to secure business and provide after-sales service.
  • Assisting with invoicing and payments.
  • Compiling statistics and reporting for cluster management and commercial teams.
  • Supporting the creation and rollout of the local commercial strategy.
The requirements for this internship are:
  • Currently enrolled in university
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
  • Positive, can-do attitude towards teamwork.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Multi-tasker with strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on mentality.
  • Sales driven and commercially savvy.
  • Guest and service oriented.
  • Studying within the EU.
