The Orchard is seeking a College Marketing Representative in Atlanta for a 6-month part-time position. The representative will be an advocate for artists distributed by The Orchard, promoting 3-6 artists per month through digital and in-person marketing strategies. This role involves being a tastemaker by building relationships with local businesses, record stores, DJs, and campus organizations.

Role involves:

  • Creating awareness of The Orchard’s artists by liaising with influencers.
  • Maintaining a local social media presence to promote artists.
  • Implementing in-person marketing initiatives.
  • Researching online sites and attending local events.
  • Attending artists' shows and submitting detailed marketing reports.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate student at a 4-year university in Atlanta with at least 2 years left.
  • Ability to manage own hours and be accountable.
  • Passion for music and understanding of music consumption trends.
  • Understanding of social media marketing and active presence on platforms.
  • Availability of 20 hours per week.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Transportation and residence within 30 minutes of Atlanta.
  • Flexible schedule for team conference calls and tour coverage.
