Addepar is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their European team in Geneva, Switzerland. This role is crucial for expanding Addepar's presence in the Swiss market. The Sales Engineer will work closely with senior stakeholders to demonstrate the value of Addepar’s solutions to wealth managers, family offices, private banks, and asset managers.

The Sales Engineer acts as a bridge between the Sales, Services, Product, Engineering, and Data teams, keeping the sales team updated on product developments and workflows. They will also contribute to developing resources and tools to enhance the sales team’s knowledge.

What this role involves:

  • Guiding prospects in understanding how Addepar fits their business.
  • Supporting Sales Engineers and Sales Executives with expertise on Addepar’s product and data platform.
  • Assisting with RFPs and RFIs.
  • Coordinating with internal product and technical teams.
  • Highlighting the unique benefits of Addepar compared to competitors.
  • Leading Proof of Concept initiatives.
  • Designing tailored solutions to address clients' business needs.
  • Collaborating on Statements of Work (SOW) and budget estimates.

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience in financial services (FinTech deployment, sales engineering, product management, etc.).
  • Familiarity with the Swiss financial landscape.
  • Experience with SaaS companies in similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of modern software architecture and financial concepts.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks and projects.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.
  • Familiarity with database concepts, cloud infrastructure, security, SQL, Python, and APIs.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering background is a plus).
  • Fluency in English as well as French, and/or German
