Job Description

Viral Nation is seeking a Manager, Community & Social to lead and develop their community management program. The ideal candidate will be an engaging self-starter with a strong understanding of social media trends and emerging platforms. This role involves building and managing a team of Community Managers, establishing efficient processes, and ensuring effective collaboration with cross-functional partners and external clients.Responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing the foundations of the community management program.
• Establishing touch points and processes for vetting, troubleshooting, and ongoing content management.
• Overseeing and providing strategic counsel for day-to-day community management output, including content calendar creation, reporting, community building engagement, and KPIs.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to align cohesive strategies and ensure the Community Management team has the necessary tools for success.
• Leading creative presentations of approved work to clients/team members.
• Staying on top of trends and competitive work.
• Leading the Social Newsroom to ensure a consistent flow of creative ideas across the organization.
• Mentoring the Community Management team on identifying culturally relevant moments for brands.

Requirements include:

• 6+ years of social media management experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for creating and executing strategies.
• Efficient management skills.
• A university degree or college diploma in a relevant field.
