Job Description
A-LIGN is seeking a Penetration Tester to join its dedicated pen testing team. The role involves testing and improving the security of clients’ systems and data across various industries. The team uses a broad range of tools and is constantly evolving to discover new vulnerabilities and security weaknesses.Responsibilities include:
- Executing internal, external, wireless, and web application pen tests
- Executing social engineering tests, including phishing, vishing, and physical
- Executing vulnerability scans and assessments
- Compiling and writing client reports
- Navigating the Kali system from the command line
- Creating and writing Bash scripts from the command line
- Reimaging devices and virtual machines with Kali Linux
Minimum qualifications include:
- Pursuing a degree in cybersecurity, management information systems, or computer science
- Experience working on cloud infrastructure, system administration, or network administration
- Experience performing network and application pen tests
- One of the following certifications: OSCP/eCPPT, eWPT, or other related certifications
- Hands-on experience with CTF and exploitation tools
- Understanding of security best practices
- Understanding and experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP
