Penetration Tester

Job Description

A-LIGN is seeking a Penetration Tester to join its dedicated pen testing team. The role involves testing and improving the security of clients’ systems and data across various industries. The team uses a broad range of tools and is constantly evolving to discover new vulnerabilities and security weaknesses.Responsibilities include:

• Executing internal, external, wireless, and web application pen tests
• Executing social engineering tests, including phishing, vishing, and physical
• Executing vulnerability scans and assessments
• Compiling and writing client reports
• Navigating the Kali system from the command line
• Creating and writing Bash scripts from the command line
• Reimaging devices and virtual machines with Kali Linux

Minimum qualifications include:

• Pursuing a degree in cybersecurity, management information systems, or computer science
• Experience working on cloud infrastructure, system administration, or network administration
• Experience performing network and application pen tests
• One of the following certifications: OSCP/eCPPT, eWPT, or other related certifications
• Hands-on experience with CTF and exploitation tools
• Understanding of security best practices
• Understanding and experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP
