Executive Lead, Relationship Management (Vice President) - The Orchard

Job Description

The Orchard is seeking an Executive Lead, Relationship Management to oversee P&L and strategy for a roster of teams managing relationships across The Orchard’s global priority label and artist client base. The role involves building and executing team business plans, setting KPI’s and projections, and working closely with Relationship Management, Service and Partnerships leads to identify service gaps.

• Oversee P&L and strategy for a roster of teams managing relationships.
• Build and execute team business plans, setting KPI’s and projections.
• Build business plans for individual clients, setting targets for growth.
• Lead regular reviews with senior leadership on progress and opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with leads to identify service gaps and areas for renegotiation.
• Forge and grow strong relationships with executive leadership and teams of client roster.
• Strategic oversight and creative direction on priority new release and catalogue campaign global development.
• Lead international campaigns for priority repertoire, building out marketing plans, partnerships, budgets and engagement strategies in international territories.
• Identify opportunities to develop artists & releases in new markets and with new audiences.
• Develop external partnerships to create new marketing and revenue opportunities.
• Participate in pitch process selling The Orchard’s value proposition and service offering to prospective clients.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience at a label or distribution services company.
• Proven track record of strategizing and running successful international campaigns.
• Experience managing artist P&L’s and marketing budgets.
• Strong leadership and management experience.
• Culturally empathetic, clear, and effective communicator.
• Skilled negotiator with the ability to use data and case studies to persuade.
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize to tight deadlines.
• In-depth knowledge of current market trends and tactical applications.
• Passion for working globally and with different cultures.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Workspace Applications.
• Passionate about music and the music industry.
