Job Description
Schrödinger is seeking an Account Director to expand revenue based on its software solutions in German-speaking territories. The Account Director will play a key role in growing customer relationships and driving business development within pharmaceutical, biotech, and life science companies. Schrödinger is expanding its product offerings beyond computational chemistry software into the areas of materials science, biologics, enterprise informatics, databases, and visualization.
    What this role involves:
  • Identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities.
  • Managing and growing existing accounts.
  • Collaborating with various teams to support account needs.
  • Developing strategies to drive business development and territory growth with the EU+ team.
  • Producing business reports and revenue forecasts.
  • Traveling to customers and conferences.
    Requirements:
  • An advanced degree in life sciences.
  • At least five years of experience in account management, business development, or consulting within the chemical or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Fluency in English and German.
