Perplexity AI, experiencing rapid growth since launching its conversational answer engine, seeks a Browser QA Engineer to enhance its Android app. The company's platform answers millions of daily queries and serves enterprise clients like Nvidia and Zoom. Backed by prominent investors, Perplexity AI is expanding its team to revolutionize search and internet interaction.This role involves:
  • Testing a performant native Desktop and Android app used by millions globally.
  • Collaborating with product teams to implement novel mobile/desktop experiences.
  • Working with design teams to help design fast and intuitive UI/UX.
  • Collaborating with desktop and mobile dev teams to instrument, analyze, and improve the end-to-end experience.
  • Working with infrastructure, backend and frontend teams on deployment processes, including testing, release, and monitoring.
Requirements include:
  • 4+ years of industry experience.
  • Expertise in Hand Testing.
  • Expertise in Autotest frameworks.
  • Understanding of how to test performance and speed issues.
  • Comfort working within a small, fast-moving team and taking ownership.
  • A passion for shipping.
