Early Childhood Clinician - Hybrid Allentown, PA

Blackbird Health is seeking an Early Childhood Clinician to provide mental health services to preschool-aged children (2-5 years) in a hybrid setting in Allentown, PA. The clinician will be responsible for screenings, assessments, treatment planning, and individual and family therapy. • Providing screenings, assessments, treatment planning, and individual and family therapy to preschool-aged children (2-5 years).
• Participating in weekly department and team meetings.
• Completing documentation for services within 24 hours of services.
• Managing your schedule.
• Reporting weekly productivity.
• Collaboration with community-based preschool education providers.
• Utilizing appropriate evidence-based practices (PCIT and CPP).

Requirements:

• Passion for our mission to redefine behavioral health for children and their families
• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to children
• Ample knowledge of typical and atypical early childhood development.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with patients, provider partners, and colleagues
• Utilize and implement evidence-based practices related to early childhood mental health.
• Open to professional and clinical feedback and interested in working in a supporting and collegial clinical environment.
• Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness.
• Display empathy.
• Flexibility to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during our peak “after school hours” defined as after 4pm ET during the week or if you wanted any time on weekends.
• Active licensure in Pennsylvania as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• At least one year of experience providing mental health services to children under the age of 6.
