Job Description

Hudl is seeking an Engineering Manager to join its Applied Machine Learning team in London. This role involves driving initiatives that utilize computer vision and deep learning to provide insights to coaches, athletes, and fans. The Engineering Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team of 5 to 10 engineers and data scientists, ensuring goals are met and high-impact results are delivered.

The Engineering Manager will collaborate with other teams, set technical standards, and cultivate an empowered environment for the team. They will also be responsible for hiring and developing talent within the organization.

Role Involves:

• Managing a multidisciplinary team of 5-10 Engineers and Data Scientists.
• Collaborating with other teams and leaders to deliver projects.
• Setting high standards for architecture, code quality, and system health.

Requirements:

• Leadership experience supporting a team of 5–10 individual contributors.
• System expertise in building and maintaining AI/ML models and systems.
• Strong technical proficiency in areas such as machine vision, multi-view geometry, GPU accelerators, inference on edge devices, LLM’s models, real-time systems, and signal processing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven track record of delivering impactful AI/ML products.
