The Student Hotel (TSH) is seeking a passionate and talented Chef de Partie to join their team in Florence, Italy. TSH is known for breaking the rules of hospitality, creating a fun, creative, and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn, and have fun. The Chef de Partie will work 5 days a week on a single shift, starting from May 2025.

Role Involves:

  • Ensuring resources are available for cooks to perform tasks correctly and promptly.
  • Communicating daily specials, menu changes, and guest dietary needs to cooks.
  • Actively participating in service by preparing and cooking dishes, and maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Monitoring portion control and waste to maintain profit margins.
  • Checking incoming goods.
  • Ensuring HACCP guidelines and safety regulations are followed.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role in a comparable kitchen.
  • Excellent knowledge of food products according to market standards.
  • Thorough knowledge of modern cooking techniques.
  • Fluency in Italian.
  • Legal authorization to work in Italy.
