Blackbird Health is seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join their expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality care to young patients and their families. The therapist will play a crucial role in redefining behavioral health for children through evidence-based psychotherapy services.Blackbird Health is committed to providing world-class care in local communities, utilizing a whole-child diagnostic approach to address the underlying causes of each child’s challenges. They offer both virtual and in-person mental health services across Pennsylvania and Virginia, with plans for further expansion.
Responsibilities: - Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services to children and adolescents.
- Evaluate new clients through biopsychosocial/diagnostic assessments.
- Establish positive, trusting relationships with patients.
- Collaborate with other specialty providers to develop Integrated Treatment Plans.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress and maintain thorough records.
- Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate.
Requirements: - Active licensure in Pennsylvania as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
- Flexibility to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during after-school hours (after 4pm ET) or weekends.
- Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to children and/or adolescents is desired.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
- Openness to professional and clinical feedback.
