Blackbird Health is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join their team in Chantilly, VA. The therapist will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to young patients and their families. • Providing evidence-based psychotherapy services.
• Evaluating new clients through biopsychosocial/diagnostic assessments.
• Establishing positive, trusting rapport with patients.
• Collaborating with other specialty providers to establish an Integrated Treatment Plan.
• Conducting ongoing assessments of patient progress and maintaining thorough records.
• Involving and advising family members or outside specialists when appropriate.

Requirements:

• Active licensure in Virginia as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• Flexibility to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during after-school hours (after 4pm ET during the week or any time on weekends).
• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to children and/or adolescents is desired.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Open to professional and clinical feedback.
• Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness.
