Senior Software Engineer, Growth Team

Job Description

Semgrep is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Growth Team. This role is at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales, focusing on driving user acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue growth. The Senior Growth Engineer will build and optimize experiences that help new users onboard seamlessly, drive product adoption, and improve the conversion of free users to paying customers. They will experiment rapidly, analyze user behavior, and implement changes that scale Semgrep’s growth engine.Role involves:

• Developing and scaling growth experiments across the funnel.
• Building and optimizing user experiences.
• Leveraging data and analytics to measure user behavior.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Automating and enhancing workflows for customer acquisition.
• Contributing to technical growth initiatives.
• Owning and improving growth infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Enthusiasm and experience with experimentation-driven approach to problem-solving
• 4+ years of experience writing production software and building web applications.
• Excitement about building for customers, learning their needs, iterating fast, and seeing your solutions solve their core problems
• Excellent and proactive communication, both verbal and written
