Job Description
CAMP, a unique retail and entertainment experience company, is seeking an Inventory Analyst to optimize inventory performance. This role is based in NYC and reports to the Director of Planning and Allocation. The Inventory Analyst will monitor, analyze, and report on inventory levels, trends, and projections, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory management processes.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze performance metrics, including product turnover and weeks of supply across all inventory locations.
- Monitor inventory levels, execute inter-warehouse transfers, and address potential stock imbalances.
- Investigate and recommend solutions to inventory-related issues.
- Develop and implement launch plans for new stores and product launches.
- Identify excess and obsolete inventory for appropriate action.
- Leverage data manipulation skills to extract, clean, and transform inventory data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance existing processes and systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Affinity for numbers, attention to detail, and investigative curiosity.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- 2-3 years of experience in inventory analysis, retail allocation, or merchandise planning.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
- Excellent data manipulation and problem-solving skills.
