Senior Manager, Operations

MycoWorks is looking for a Senior Manager, Operations to lead their office in Igualada, Spain. The role involves overseeing tannery partnerships and managing an internal cross-functional development team. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, relationship management, and leadership skills to drive execution while balancing long-term strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the MycoWorks Spain (MWSP) team.
• Drive relationships with tannery partners and suppliers.
• Work closely with Commercial and Manufacturing teams to align supply capabilities with business forecasts.
• Identify and drive business improvements, ensuring partners are meeting efficiency and output goals.
• Manage development of systems within tanneries including visualizations, throughput modeling, capacity planning, etc.
• Represent MycoWorks in strategic discussions with tannery partners.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in business management, supplier relations, or manufacturing leadership.
• Proven leadership experience, managing external supplier relationships and internal cross-functional teams.
• Strong ability to translate business objectives into execution plans.
• Experience working with supplier performance management, contract negotiations, and business strategy execution.
• Highly adaptable, with a strategic mindset.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
