VML & Ogilvy Japan GK is seeking a Senior Account Director to spearhead digital transformation for a key client, ensuring measurable business success. The Senior Account Director will translate the client’s marketing and business objectives into scalable, user-centric digital experiences that deliver strong ROI. This role involves leading a cross-functional team of digital specialists and working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and smooth execution.

Role involves:

  • Driving digital strategy and product roadmap.
  • Leading program delivery and ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
  • Developing consulting and delivery methodologies.
  • Mentoring junior team members.
  • Supporting agency pre-sales efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual (English and Japanese) skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of marketing technology platforms.
  • Strong understanding of marketing processes and workflow.
  • Experience with analytics and data-driven decision making.
  • Understanding of customer-centric design thinking.
  • Experience managing program scope and finances.
  • Experience with client management and account development planning.
  • Experience managing localized & regional communications.
