VML & Ogilvy Japan GK is seeking a Senior Account Director to lead digital transformation for a key client. The Senior Account Director will translate marketing and business objectives into user-centric digital experiences, ensuring a strong ROI.

The Senior Account Director will lead a cross-functional team of specialists in Research, UX, Creative, Data Analytics, and Technology. The role demands close collaboration with senior stakeholders and internal teams to ensure strategic alignment and smooth execution.

Responsibilities include:

  • Driving digital strategy and product roadmap.
  • Leading the delivery of programs.
  • Continuously developing consulting and delivery methodologies.
  • Mentoring junior team members.
  • Supporting agency pre-sales efforts.

Requirements include:

  • Bilingual (English and Japanese) skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of marketing technology platforms.
  • Understanding of marketing processes and workflow.
  • Experience with analytics and data-driven processes.
  • Understanding of customer-centric design thinking.
  • Experience with managing program scope and finances.
  • Experience with client management and account development planning.
  • Experience with managing localized & regional communications.
