QA Engineer at SurePay

SurePay is seeking a QA Engineer to maintain high standards of software quality. The QA Engineer will work in an Agile team alongside developers and DevOps engineers, participating in functional and non-functional testing on a platform built with Java and Kotlin and hosted on AWS.

The role involves developing and implementing quality assurance strategies and testing. The candidate will define quality requirements and create technical specifications documentation, and test products/features to ensure they meet these standards. The defects needs to be identified and give feedback to the development team for refinement before the product goes live.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and test architecture enhancements.
• Conduct API testing using Java/Kotlin.
• Oversee performance testing with tools like JMeter, BlazeMeter, or Gatling.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team in AWS services.
• Take a proactive role in client-facing interactions.

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of QA experience.
• Proven ability to automate tests for REST APIs using Java/Kotlin.
• Expertise in AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and Agile methodologies.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
