The Student Hotel is seeking a Meeting & Events Intern in Florence to support commercial results by coordinating Meeting & Event bookings. The intern will sell TSH concepts and services, ensure guest satisfaction, and drive repeat business.
  • Assisting with answering questions and making bookings through various channels.
  • Helping with the development of customer accounts to drive business.
  • Working within current business strategies and recognizing potential opportunities.
  • Preparing, updating and filing all correspondence.
  • Preparing the meeting & events functions sheet.
  • Hosting meetings.
  • Maintaining an effective follow-up system.
  • Assisting with finance-related tasks, from invoicing to payments.
  • Compiling statistics and reporting.
  • Supporting the creation and rollout of the local commercial strategy.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in university
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Multi-tasker with problem-solving skills
  • Sales-driven and commercially savvy
  • Guest and service-oriented
  • Studying within the EU
